So i got an 89 iroc but the thing is it wont start. the guy who had the car did a hack job i guess where he took the igintion cylinder out with the key turned to on and wired it close to the connector and changed the igintion cylinder with a whole different key. i did the vats bypass as instructed earlier by some people but noticed where there were supposed to be white wires wrapped in orange shrink there was yellow wire wrapped in black coming out of the original ignition cylinder which was taped under the dash . people were saying it is SIR but its an 89 they didnt have airbags right? but anyways i did the bypass with the resistors but it doesnt work still wont start. what should i do next.
