injector damage by having fuel pressure very high??
i set my fuel pressure with vacume hose connected. big mistake. so it reads 49 psi with vacume hose on.
1989 l98
im on my way to set with hose off and connector plugged. or is it hose plugged or both??
my car does not start sometimes just revs for one second and dies.
could my high fuel pressure cause this im using bosch 111
could i have caused any damage to the injectors?

no worries 49# is nothing.... you can crank them up to 65 or a lil more with no damage
you should be @ 45# and yes while setting pressure unplug vacuum from the regulator & plug the new leak

Bosch D3's are good to 6-7 Bar 72psi is 5 Bar so I think you have plenty of room for error
