strange backfire
the car starts and runs great . for an hour that is .then it starts to backfire like a shotgun. it also dies when i come to a stop. i thought it was the ignition module so i put a new one in it and no change.

Do you have any trouble codes from the Service Engine Soon light or any info from a scanner? After it starts backfiring, does it keep running at idle? Is the fuel getting hot, if so check out this thread.
