Need help finding a setup.

Here is my dillema... I have an 86 Trans Am with the stock 305... Its nice but I would like a few more ponies without drinking tons of gas...(im pretty happy with the millage im getting out of it. about 20mpg freeway) I want to lighten the engine to aluminium heads and get rid of the stock exhaust manifolds and put on a set of headers... I want to keep my stock TPI fuel injection. This car is my daily drive so 275 to 300 horsepower is the target range. I dont want to change out my cam but porting and polishing is certainly an option. What parts could I use with out having to altering my ecm programming or my TPI? I can't seem to find parts that will bolt directly to my 305 block and do what I want them to other than the headers.... I have a magnaflow cat back exhaust that is 2 3/4" all the way back. So i know that helps a bit.

Re: Need help finding a setup.

most all parts for a 350 will bolt to a 305. aftermarket companies don't come out and say every part is for every engine. they usually say 283-400.
