Hello , my motor was bolted to a engine stand when it fell over . When the engine hit the floor it rolled over on its side and slightly pushed in one of the runners . When I went to to put the plenum on to check if the runners were in fact bent , the plenum would not line up . Has this happened to anyone and is there a way to bend the runner back into place ? Mind you to the naked eye there appears to be no damage until you try and bolt on the plenum , so not much damage was endured . I also thought of slightly heating the runner and bending it back to its original position but I don't trust the idea . Thanks in advance for any help .

Too bad about your engine falling over. Could have been worse though.
Maybe, if you loosely bolt everything together, then slowly tighten the bolts down, it would slowly pull everything into alignment. I expect this procedure would add alot of stress on the plenum and runners, but it might go back together.
Hope this helps.

You could try bolting them down and then heating them. But if you need a new set pm me.

Thanks for your suggestion but the bolt holes are to far off for that procedure . I am not sure if I replied correctly to your suggestion . I am new to the whole forums thing . I clicked on quote because when I click on reply it does not tell me if I am replying to you or the other reply that I received .Originally Posted by skibum2100
