Fuel pressure issue? Remove Cold Start??
So I have had problems with my 85 TPI starting. Around 2 weeks ago I would have to crank it and crank it and eventually it would start then after about 10min it would run fine. I replaced the fuel filter, fuel regulator and now I have I think 25pound of pressure and it won't even start at all.
I heard someone mention removing cold start or a cold start kit to help solve this? Or is it an injector possibly?
Thanks a ton peeps! A ton!

Low pressure is not helping.Need to determine where you are losing pressure
Need to determine where pressure is bleeding off.
Disconnect and cap the line to the CSI and see if your pressure comes back
If you didn't have the pressure problem , you would need to 1st determine if engine rich or lean on cold crank.
If the CSI is not working engine would be lean and if the CSI was leaking engine would be too rich

Re: Fuel pressure issue? Remove Cold Start??
Over time, they tend to go bad. They either stick open, flooding your engine with gas, or they stick closed- not working at all. I do not think they are available as replacements, and even having them rebuilt is problematic. Using a Cold Start Block off kit from Ebay, and a tune from a later year where cold start was eliminated by the factory solves the problem. These tunes use all 8 injectors to "richen" up the mixture for cold start.
