whats the combination? What was the 60 ft on drag radials? What street tires will you run?

How well can you pedal the throttle? lol lots of variables here that can change your ET's

Re: 8.8 1/8th track whit drag radials

hmmm if with drag radialsyou can only get a 1.985 then street tires are gonna be alittle worse, but most guys can cut a 1.98 on street tires with little effort.

Assume you go to a 2.1 60 ft on street tires you'll probably drop down from 8.8 to near 9.0

Re: 8.8 1/8th track whit drag radials

Does the car have any gear upgrades? Is it a manual or automatic? If auto, does it have a converter?

If no converter and with stock gearing, it may not need drag radials to run good and should run same times on street tires as it does radials.

On stock converter I dont see you gaining much at all with drag radials, you should beable to nearly match those 60 foots on street tires if they are a good soft street tire.

See what you can do, then look at getting a converter. Makes a huge difference and will work well with the drag radials
