No crank, no fuel prime after complete build.
well I've finally finished putting the car back together after a 9 month teardown.
Anyways I put a different steering column switched tumblers.
the car was an auto is now a stick shift. jumped the safety neutral just to make sure. still no crank.
I put a trigger on the starter and it cranks.
all the lights come on, all the ground are hooked up.
where should I start? what should I start doing to diagnose this.
also I have the vats deleted in the computer but the previous owner had put a resister in the wire to eliminate it. well while crawling around under the dash that resistor broke off. so the connector is just sitting there?

I'm sure someone will chime in here, but I would think the resistor is no longer required.. But a connection would be...

VATS reprogrammed in the computer only gives you fuel part of VATS ;
you still have to bypass the starter enable relay for VATS to be fully deleted
Maybe the VATS module was still working ( on the starter component ) and dropping the bypass resistor out has taken out the still being used enable relay?
( if you didn't bypass the relay when you had the delete chip burnt )
