tpi engine harness questions
i have a 1989 camaro with tbi and a t5 can you use a harness and computer out of a 1991 tpi with a 700r4 just dont use the speed sensor plug in or the torque lock up pigtails i was wondering if this would work since im having a very hard time finding a tpi with t5 harness and computer i was thinking it should work but im not a 100% sure

That would be doing a speed density (MAP ) swap ;you would reuse your TBI MAP sensor.
Otherwise same as MAF TPI swap except no MAF or MAF relays needed
Is usually advised to connect the VSS because it controls revs when you slow down at a stop, even though you don't need it for the man trans

Could fit correct the 4000 pulse VSS from a 90 -92 TPI trans or if you have cable drive speedo
use this to give correct signal to computer
