TPI Harness

Will a tpi harness from a 90 camaro fit a 91 camaro? Didn't know if the drivers side pigtail had the same pin out.

I can get my hands on a 90 complete tpi setup with harness and computer for 100. My 91 tpi harness is crap and need a new one.

Re: TPI Harness

I am not for sure but I think they will. For what it is worth, I can tell you a little about the TA's (and they should be the same.) In the schematics of my haynes book, the latest changes were made after 89. I found out the hard way by trying to put a 91 harness from the dash in an 89 set up. They look remarkably similar till you try to hook them up. Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I think they are the same from 90-92.

Re: TPI Harness

90-92 speed density harness are the same but different between camaro and firebird with regards to battery hookup. Camaro has a seperate extra harness for dual fans while the Firebird's is an integral part.

Re: TPI Harness

the under hood light and gauge ground are different as well between firebird and camaro. i found that out the hard way on my swap. as long as it is from another camaro you should be good to go.
