High performance ignition coil

Hi everyone I did a search but could not find anything on aftermarket coils. My 1987 5.7 Iroc is kind of stock just bolt ons and was thinking of going to a higher Volt coil. Is it worth it? If so MSD Accel?
Thanks for any insight.

Re: High performance ignition coil

I've never noticed a difference. I would run a 6AL ign box from MSD instead. Just keep in mind you'll want to replace your plugs sooner because it will use them up a tad faster..
