hi ive got a 305 tpi in my anglia with all egr blocked etc ,its got a a larrys ecm in it , ive put a new iac valve in the throttle body ,started the car but ran really hi revs , ive been told there is a procedere to re set the iac , ive heard its bridge the a & b on diagonstics plug ,turn the ignition on ,then unplug the sensor on the iac ,then remove the bridge wire from a&b then start the car with sensor un plugged for around 30 secs at about 1800 rpm then blip the throttle turn the car off ,put the plug back on then iac sensor and re start the car and should have re set the iac vavled can anybody comfirm just so im not doing it wrong ,also will it give a fault code for iac vavle ,thanks
