I have a 87 camaro it's 305 tpi. Original heads with 66,000 miles on them I want to get a computer controlled cam for it , one where I would need no tuning and one where I wouldn't have to touch my heads, I want to put this cam in and be done. Any suggestions guys?

No such thing as computer controlled. There are computer compatible cams, which means easier tuning..

You won't get alot without a tune, but you might want to try a L98 or LT1 cam. Your MAF should be able to compensate for the increased airflow.

I would recommend datalogging after installation to make sure it is running correct. It IS worth the investment to tune the car..I've heard you can get 15-25 hp just by tuning a stock motor!

You should search the forums, as there are many members building up 305's.

At the shop we recommend replacing the valve springs if going to a cam bigger then stock.As RS said no such thing as computer controlled cam.
