Cold start switch & injector delete kit

I have problems to find a new cold start switch to my -88 Pontiac GTA (living in Europe).
If I`ll buy it from USA it is very expensive part.
There are "cold switch and injector delete kits".
Any experience of this kit? Will it effect also to something else in my ECM?

Re: Cold start switch & injector delete kit

If you use the '89 version of your engine tune in the computer you don't need CSI.
The computer in '89 is programmed to supply the extra cold start fuel needed through the 8 injectors

Can either leave CSI components in place just to fill the holes and disconnect the wiring ( cheaper )
or buy the delete ( plug ) kit to make it look pretty
You would need to find a prom from a '89 car the same as yours or buy a custom tune
from a online tuner like PCMforless to replace your existing prom
