fuel pressure

Im running an 87 GTA 350 auto, using a walbro 255 lph pump (3rd one),
anyone encounter issues with having a 255 pump and using the stock style regulator?
The fuel pressure is bouncing around never steady.
Using ractronix wiring to pump, accel injectors and holley afpr, new filter, cpp removed and vented to air for now.
Inectors all check out to spec, regulator is brand new...
I cannot get this fuel issue solved, anyone else encounter this problem?

No leaks or clogs, lines are good blew air through the rail and lines, no issues there.

Re: fuel pressure

No issues here. Are you using the pulsator between the pump and fuel sender assy? Ive seen those leak before.

Re: fuel pressure

the only thing I can add is that when I rebuilt the fuel system on my 92 TPI, the fuel pressure bounced around a lot until I was able to get all the air pressure out of the system. I bled it my jumping the fuel pump relay and running it awhile until i saw constant pressure.

Sounds like air is getting in there somewhere.

Re: fuel pressure

My gauge on the rail was causing the issue.
Thank you for the help.
