1987 LB9 fires up but instantly stalls

I just got my 1987 Iroc back up and running, just this past weekend i drove it on both friday, saturday, and sunday. Car ran flawlessly with just a few hiccups. But as i was pulling on to my road it began acting funny and when i pulled in my drive-way in completely died. Upon it doing this i just let it coast to a stop and i just went about what i was doing. When i came back outside to pull it in the garage the car would fire-up and instantly stall out, just normal start and then nothing what so ever. The timing is set at 6* with the wire unplugged, im fixing to go check my TPS voltage n such but i just wanted a second opinion from my fellow third genners.

Does the fuel pump prime when you first turn the ignition on? Can you hear the fuel pump running for a second or two right after it dies?

Yes the fuel pump is priming when i first turn the key on and yes i have spark, the car will run and start fine if i give it a touch of gas to keep the idle up. It has about a 1/4 tank of gas in it.

Does check engine light turn on? my guess maybe bad MAF relay? You can test if it is somthing to do with the MAF by unplugging it. Then start it if it continues to run it is somthing to do with the MAF

Yeah the SES light is on but i expected it to, no smog, and its had MAF high code since the day i bought the car in 2005. It also had a few other codes to do with vacume n such, but the one that caught my eye was i believe CODE 21 TPS low.

You have to start with the codes and fix those problems before you go anyfarther.
A factory service manual from helm is worth the money.

Adjusted my TPS, cleaned and adjusted IAC, and adjusted idle speed! Car is starting and running fine, SES light and all!
