Few wiring questions

I'm swapping an '88 TPI setup into my Jeep Comanche and had a few questions about the wiring. The TPI setup is a MAF 350 setup that came from an automatic transmission. This setup will be swapped into an '86 Comanche with an AX-15 (5 speed manual transmission).

While tracing through wires when combining my harness with the Camaro one, I ran into three wires that I'm not quite sure what to do with. I have read that I won't have any real run issues going from an auto to manual since there was never a 5.7L with the manual option. The question comes down to what do I do with the Park/Neutral input and TCC wires. From schematics, it says that the same output on the computer is used for the TCC (A/T)-Shift (M/T). Is there a way I can wire that up to a shift light maybe?

The third wire I was a bit confused about was the top gear input. Any idea what that really does? The schematic shows almost like it's the control side of a relay and controls the TCC/Shift side.

Any help is appreciated.

Re: Few wiring questions
The orange/black Park/Neutral input is not used for manual transmission. This goes away.

The tan/black TCC control is not used for manual transmissions. This can go away. You'll have to pull up schematics to see if it controls a shift light. It has been a long time since I've looked at TPI schematics.

The green top gear input is a 4th gear switch that allows for additional calibration details when the transmission is in 4th gear. This goes away with a manual transmission.

Re: Few wiring questions
Awesome, thanks for the info. One other question if you would know. This is my first real time playing with Chevy so I'm going off my Jeep knowledge. On Jeeps, there is the neutral safety switch for the automatics and in the wiring harness on the manuals, those two wires are jumped to essentially bypass it. Do the Camaros have anything like that or can I just cut the wires out?

Manuals have the same wiring running to a safety switch on the clutch. (must start with clutch depressed )
If you don't want it just join the two NSS wires together
or better still just run a wire from Jeep Ign switch to the starter.
Starter circuit is not part of EFI control

Re: Few wiring questions
I actually have my ignition setup still from the original Jeep wiring, wasn't sure if there was anything running through the ECU for the NSS. Thanks for pointing that out though, just cut the wires out today. When I merged the wiring harnesses, I kept the ignition, wiper, headlight, and pretty much the whole fuse panel from the Jeep and dropped in everything else from the Camaro.

I appreciate the help both of you guys have given me. All I need is to work on the fan wiring and under dash wiring (ACDL mainly) and the Jeep should hopefully spring back to life.
