the charcoal can on my car appears to not be working ,also theres way too much pressure building up in the gas tank.there is a lil white thing under the left rear of the car attached to one of the fuel lines .is this the part that has failed?? any one with a idea? or a part number?

 

I won't be any help here. I am having same issues. I have been told 2 different THings about that valve by tHe Tank. 1 it only lets air in the oTher was a it's a pressure relief . now I could blow through it boTh ways. But blowing Thru iT like iTs mounted (towards The tank) was alot easier than the other way ( as pressure would come out of tank) sorry i can't really help. I've noTiced alot of ?'s abouT this on the boards but noone has found a fix yet.
