305 tbi to tpi swap

I have a 91 rs with a 305 tbi and want to swap to a tpi system. Can I use the same harness? i heard you can repinn them to a new ecm. If so what ecm do i need? i got a tpi engine from a 87 camaro. I also have a 92 v6 parts car. I dont know if that helps me at all. thanks!

Re: 305 tbi to tpi swap

I did the same swap and you can repin the 91 tbi harness to run tpi very easy just changing the iac, tps,and splicing in the fuel injector connects like said, the only thing is it will become MAP but, I wanted to run MAF because, in opinion it is better and more forgiving to modifications. So it took longer for me but, it isn't that difficult at all.
