Re: tpi stock injectors

From what I've heard and read the stock multec injectors are junk. I actually just got rebuilt Bosch III's from Southbay on Friday because 3 of my stock injectors crapped out. From what I've been told is that the design of the injectors allows the fuel to seep into the coils and the alcohol/ethanol from the gas then causes the coils to erode and fail.

Re: tpi stock injectors

They are junk. This biggest issue with those injectors is that they are extremely prone to coil failure...especially when they are hot. The coil is exposed in these injectors, so over time with the constant flow of fuel the coils start to fail. Unfortunately they cannot be repaired or replaced.
