Adjustable fpr or not?

I am having to replace the diaphragm in my stock for because of trash im assuming and just been sitting so long,I started the car finally and when I take off it does fine till I give it gas then it fall on its face and start bucking around and stuff and popping out the intake..it idles fine but just acts like it is running out of fuel when I gas on it...any other suggestions guys?
My other question is do y'all know a good place to buy a regulator kit because te ones I've found are just as expensive as buying am adjustable one..if anyone knows a good source lemme know,Thanks

Oh..I have a 91 tpi 305 t-5,fresh engine new injectors just so ya know what I'm working with

I used a Holley 512-501 recently and the quality of it is acceptable. Not sure if that's your problem though. Test the regulator you have now by putting a pressure gauge on the rail. With the car running at idle and the vacuum to the regulator disconnected, the pressure should be between 40 and 47 PSI. When you plug the vacuum line back on, the pressure should drop between 3 and 10 PSI. Also make sure there isn't any fuel in that vacuum line.
