Schraeder Valve for fuel rail

Anybody have a good used or where I might pick up a schrader valve for the fuel rail. I'm getting a small leak around the needle. I've tried tightening it, but no luck.

Thanks in advance

Re: Schraeder Valve for fuel rail

I got a box of them from O'Reilly's. I had exactly the same problem. They even leant me the little wrench to change it out. Now, I am hoping them don't need a special type for the fuel rail- I just got generic ones...

Having same issue here. If I don't play with the valve when I take my pressure gauge off, it will spray gas everywhere, or just leak.

Re: Schraeder Valve for fuel rail

It's the core that you are replacing and how you can find them listed. There are differences in cores due to different materials used between AC systems, Compressed Gases and Fuels. The seals will be different per application. Generics will work for a little while but will not last as long as cores made for gasoline.

Go to the dealership and get a GM part. You get the whole fitting, gasket, and cap. I bought one a few years ago and it was not that much money.
