Stalling headache!!
Hey guys. Ive been battling with my 92 Formula for a while now with this stalling problem.
It's a bone stock lb9 with the 7730 ecm.
My issue is cold start. It will not stay running when cold unless you tip in the throttle and keep the rpms at 2k. After about 3 minutes you feel the car smooth out and it will maintain idle but surge a bit.
I've already chased injectors, iac, map, tps, mat, and fuel pressure reg. All the sensors are within range. And fuel pressure is around 45-48 psi. Anyone have any other ideas what could cause this?

Re: Stalling headache!!
I had a similar issue and it was my EGR valve had gotten all crusty with carbon buildup...check that out and see if its functioning properly

Get the ecm tested. It will eliminate the obvious at least. Oil pressure sensor could have an effect on this.

Ok, sorry I missed that. When you say the sensors are within range do you mean you checked them with a meter out of the engine, or you are using an OBD monitoring tool to see what the ECM is reading them as? I have a coolant sensor in the garage that seems to check out until you put it in the engine; then it's suddenly -40F.
