Nitrous and timing help.

I have a holley stealth ram intake setup using 91 Camaro ECM and sensors. I want to put nitrous on this. The motor is mildly modified. 10.5 compression 587 lift. It put down 349.6rwhp 361rwtq. I need someway of controlling the timing other than a separate tune/prom for the nitrous. I need someway to pull timing. Can this be done? Thanks any help would be great.

Re: Nitrous and timing help.

Buy an msd or mallory ignition box setup that has built in timing retard for nitrous. I run a mallory hyfire vi (685) box with window switch for rpm activation, rev limiter, and timing control. One prom one tune but when nitrous is on timing is pulled

Re: Nitrous and timing help.

Thankyou very much. Just looking in Jegs or summit none of the boxes say they will run with our ECM. What nitrous kit are you running?

Re: Nitrous and timing help.

I had a hsw kit on my 383 and now have a nx express hit man on the turbo car but its just for spooling turbo.

Ignition box does work with our ecms its just an add on pack. They sell adapter plug for our distributors... Atleast the 87 up remote coil type.
