does compression effect ecm control ?

if i use 58 cc heads and raise compression will it effect ecm control ? thanks

If heads and everything else remains same then it shouldnt change too much assuming you went fron 64cc stock to a milled 58cc.

If its a different head then it may have different flow rates and chamber design requiring different fuel amounts and timing changes. In that case you need to tune it.

Ecm dont care what you are running but its only programmed for one specific engine. Small changes it may beable to compensate fuelin levels like in maf sensor cars but big changes may need programming changes
