question about 1.6 rockers

Ive read the stickies and did a search and couldn't come up with an answer

My car was previously built (not by me) for 1.6 rockers. I just called the guy that owned it to ask him some questions and one of the things we talked about was rockers. He says everything is there, just need the 1.6s themselves. my question is. I know the car will need a tune to get everything out of the modification. but, will it be drive-able? I can deal with it running a little rich until I get it in for a dyno-tune. was just curious about this

Re: question about 1.6 rockers

1.6 rockers should be within the realm of the stock ECM to handle. If anything I would imagine it would run a little on the lean side, as it's extra air you're adding, not fuel.

What does "Built for 1.6 rockers mean"?

Re: question about 1.6 rockers

I wouldn't put too much into that " built for". If its a TPI MAF good, otherwise you'll need to tune for the extra air, especially if the cam is larger.
