build questions Block interchange head ?
I have a few questions as Im not familiar with the l98 platform so please excuse my ignorance.
My current tpi is sitting at 200k miles so I need to rebuild soon. I have a vortec block from a 97 pickup, would that work as a block so I can build it then just R&R when its done?
I have a set of World products SR torquers fully ported and ready to go, will these heads work with my factory intake (they have angled center intake bosses)
once again sorry for any repeat question and my ignorance.

Late model roller cam block ; best you can get used
Of more concern is if the ports ( how much ported ) match up to the stock TPI ports
You can slot the 4 center bolt holes just like the aftermarket TPI intakes to suit the pre '86 bolt style

the intake portions have not been ported yet, when It comes time they will be port matched.
Also my engine is a 87 so I believe it should have the angled center intake bolts right? that shoud mate up to the heads without slotting
