hi can anyone help me with some information that i need. i have a 1965 elcamio with a 91 5.7 gta tune port mortor have had car for some years now never had a problem with it till i parked it for the winter last year havent driven it since cause it has speratic start and no start... when it wont start you can hit it with starting fluid it will start and run awesome but shut key off it wont start back up then, you wait awaile it will start it seems temepermental it does it in hot or cold weather.. i have changed the tps. and i have good fuel preasure... was wondering if anyone can help me with this and does anyone know what the injectors should be for omhs?

if the injectors are Multi- Tech throw them away asap and call southbayfuelinjectors.com and get the bosch 3 22#hr. Test the injectors hot if you can 15-16.5 is normal to see on these high impedance saturated injector. If you are down around 12 they are toast. The injectors should be around .5 form each other.

maybe a injector or injectors are shorting out messing with the injector driver.

wouldnt that mess it up when its running and if i swap out injector one w injector two that should make a diff right cuz when cars running it has all the ***** in the world... my buddy said it could be ignition control module is that possible. cuz that controls the initial pulse to 300 rpms then computer takes over is that at all familiar need some other advice

I think he intended to tell you the icm will not send a drp to the ecm until 400 rpm or higher. You can have the icm tested at most autoparts store but im nor sure it they can just test the coil trigger. Usually when a icm fails its heat related. You can have good spark but loss of drp.

Thank you for dumbing it down, the distributor reference pulse ( reference High) is a icm tach signal is on the purple/white wire going pin D8 of your ecm.
