Car: 1986 z28 camaro
Engine: carbed 305/ soon to be swapped
Transmission: 700r4
Axle/Gears: not too sure, how do i find out
swapping to tpi
just seeing if my Hedman shorty headers will fit on the 350 tpi there coming off my 305 tbi? also was noticing that I would have to buy differnt valve covers due to the screws being in differnt spots

What you should be asking is if headers for one style head will fit the other style heads ( which I can't answer )
Bolts on the outside of rocker cover = perimeter bolt heads
Bolts in the center = center bolt heads

If your heads have different valve covers your tpi intake may not swap.
We need to know what year your TPI is and what year for 350 is.
Headers should swap no problem.
