Fuel hoses, Filter, What to change?
My car is an 86 Trans AM with the 305 TPI. This is one of those cars that sits most of time, gets started once a week, driven around the neighborhood until the operating temp is normal, then put back into the garage. It is all stock and has 29K miles on the odometer. We have been careful to run premium ethanol free fuel in the car. The car is currently running well, and has no codes set. The original rubber fuel hoses and filter are still on the car. I figure that I have borrowed enough time, and need to change them before one breaks and sets a fire. I have a few questions, and appreciate anyone who takes the time to answer.
1) Can all of the hoses be changed without dropping the fuel tank?
2) is the filter located on the undercarriage? Is there a secondary filter anywhere on the car? I am assuming that the screen on the fuel pump intake inside of the fuel tank has no specific life span, so it should only be changed with a fuel pump failure?
3) Are there rubber hoses on or around the engine that should be changed? Any "o " rings that should be changed as part of routine maintenance?
4) Is standard fuel injection hose from NAPA safe, or should I invest in something better?
Thanks in advance.

Great looking car!
The fuel filter is under the car, infront of the rear axle on the drivers side.
I would not worry about replacing any soft lines or o rings, unless you suspect a leak.

Re: Fuel hoses, Filter, What to change?
The car is a decent number 2. It looks great from 10 feet. Up close, it has some patina, but is a very solid mostly original car.
I will get her up on jack stands and tackle that fuel filter. The rubber hoses that one can see from looking under the car have fine cracks in the surface. It is probably cheap insurance to go ahead and change them out, rather than wait for a failure.
