TPI roller cam, is ok to run a carb on?

Hi all, am presently building my first roller cam engine (retro fitted to flat tappit block) and am not 100% sure what the end usage will be for yet, ie, 3rd gen or 60's Impala.I want to keep my options open so I was thinking of fitting a comp cams XR276 HR tpi cam in case I go tpi with it as I have a XE268H-14 in my 85tpi camaro and love the way it performs. Question is-
If I choose to carb this engine, would it run and perform ok with a computer cam in it? Someone must have done this and knows how it would go-
Cheers

It will run fine. Carbs usually benefit from tighter lsa cams but will run a wider lobe separation
