TPI Runners
TPI Runners
Ok guys heres my question can you flip the runners on a tpi? The reason i ask is that i bought a 70 chevelle with a tpi injection system on it.It has a vacuum leak on the pass side.I removed the runner and replaced the gasket but it still leaks. The runner has a port on it that has been plugged. It looks like the port for cold start injector.I thought that was only on the drivers side. The runner looks like it is not sitting correctly on the intake. It is leaking right in that area. Its not the plug but where it mates to the intake. Thanks for any help.
Re: TPI Runners
I thought maybe i could just swap them back.Assuming they where installed wrong. So do you think that my right side runner is originally a left side runner w/cold start valve?

Re: TPI Runners
Along the top front of the "pass runner only", the runner and the gasket, have a slight angle to it that matches the plenums downward slope.
It sounds like yours are most likely swapped side to side.
