Car never starts initially

Like the title says ...I would turn the key and it cranks but won't run...now it does this new thing when I turn the key it cranks and runs for like 1 second and turns off but if I crank it and when I starts I give it some which is a understatement of gas and it runs .... I think it's the cold start valve cause once it sits this is when I have this problem ...but if I cut it off after it runs it starts right back up ...what you guys think?

I'm having a similar issue, did you ever figure out what was wrong?

FWIW
If you have to give a EFI engine " gas" for it to run then it is way rich because giving it "gas" means you are putting more air to lean things out

It does not give more fuel like pumping the pedal on a carb engine does because there is no accelerator pump on a EFI setup.
