Best ECM for retrofit

Have an 88 'Vette TPI system. Of course, the idiots cut the harness at the firewall, so I need a computer to retrofit on my 69 Camaro. Would like to eliminate the ninth injector and more than likely go to speed density instead of the MAF. If going to speed density is the right move, which GM ECM do I want to be looking for. IF MAF is better for a retrofit, which ECM is the one to get? Going to be putting a fully ported TPI unit on a 375 HP 350. Thanks in advance.

The '730 (GM # 1227730 ) MAP ECM
May also be numbered 16196344 16198262 or 88999196
The tune you put on the removable memcal (chip ) inside determines what it's final usage is so what it came out of originally does not matter

From experience I highly recommend you buy a aftermarket standalone harness to suit whatever ECM you choose ,
for a perfectly tidy install and less frustration whilst gutting all the redundant wiring out of a original harness

Make sure any harness you get has the speedo (VSS ) connection ; some of the cheaper ones do not

Yeah, was going to do that. Since I am in Michigan, I was going to look very closely at Howel Engineering. Thank you for providing another source for comparison.
