Long story short, my tbi efi in my 86 c10 crapped out and I want to use my tpi unit to get it back up and running.
Tpi info:
fully ported lower stock manifold
ported slp runner
fully ported plenum matched to the slp's
Painless stand alone harness
maf ecm with abwn prom code
the engine is a stock tbi 305 with a 700r4

My question is, will this prom be fine running this setup? or will I need a different prom?

 

The abwn is for a 350, you need to use a memcal for a 305 or have your reprogramed.
the fueling and timing is different between a 305 and 350 .

 

I should mention that a 406 is making its way in this spring. would it be worth buying a factory 305 prom just to cruise the truck with
