Hey guys I need to get the location confirmed its an 1988 trans am gta it has the 9th injector it's on the passenger side has 2 wires going to it?
If you are asking were the timer switch for the csi is . it is on the front of the intake passengers side and is made bye Bosch. If your asking about the ecm cts it is the one under the coolant bypass hose on the front of the intake and uses a yellow and black wire. If you are asking about the coolant temp gauge sender it is in the cylinder head between cylinder 1 & 3. If your wondering what is in the passengers side cylinder head between 6&8 that is the secondary fan temp switch.


The one I got looks like the brass one not the black one that's circled... what is the brass one?
They both have brass bodies. The circled one is the ecm cts, the one on the left in the picture is the csi timer switch.
Thats would explain the gauge not working. You can retention the terminal. The connecter goes onto the nail head at a 90 degree straight up and down. Unless the has a male spade connecter.

Plugged it in everything works now lol thanks for all the help guys!
I'll report in the morning if that helps my cold start problem I replaced the coolant temp sensor on the intake today as well

Make sure your battery was/is disconnected for at least 10 minutes before firing it to make sure the ECM is reset I always disconnect the battery when messing with wiring I started it after 15 mins or so I took my time doing it fired right up ran to operating temp gonna change the oil after the game then it's sitting til tomorrow morning to see if the cold start bs is done
What can happen? If I didn't disconnect the battery?

My bad for not reading the whole thread but I believe the OP has a digi dash
we covered every sensor that touches coolant lol 

Yup I even changed the oil and greased all my grease certs had to replace one I'll report in the morning on how it starts I've been having cold start issues but just driving around the station I seemed to notice a lil more bottom end power? Maybe I'm crazy but I swear lol
Well the cold start bs was not fixed... could it Be the connector? It looked fine but
