i was thinking of adding an AFPR, i'm getting 24lb injectors already, but after Tuned Performance wrote me a new PROM chip and with bigger injectors, do i really need an AFPR?

Re: i know its been asked before....but

The point of an AFPR is to adjust the pressure for the type of injectors you are running. Most call for the stock setting, a tiny few call for something different. You should ALWAYS, ALWAYS have your FP set for what the fuel injector manufacturer says their product is spec'd for and NEVER anything different. Changes to fueling should always be made in the programming.

Back in the day people would slap-dick and increase their pressure but as inexpensive and wide spread as tuning tools/hardware is nowadays, there is no need.

I agree. Also I was always under the impression that if you increased your fuel pressure the computer adjusts the pulse width of the injector bringing fuel delivery back down to what it thinks it should be anyways.

Only in closed loop. in open loop, you could run a bit richer.
