EGR Vacuum Hose Issue

Alright,

So I tore down the upper half of my engine and of course while pulling the tiny hard plastic pre bent vacuum tubes out lf the egr abd the egr solenoid as well as TB I managed to have all the hoses crubble in the hands. Im in a bit of trouble now cause im not sure how to replace this. The parts store tell me tgey cabt get a hold of it. They do not sell bulk hose that size. Plus id prefer OE if posible. I have checked online and cane up with nothing. I really dont know where to find these hoses. Anyone have any idea where I can get these hoses??

Thanks (:

Re: EGR Vacuum Hose Issue

Good luck finding the OEM vacuum harness.

Dorman has some universal vacuum tubing under their Vacu-Tite! line. It comes in 3-ft. lengths.

Try their P/N's 47417, 47418 and 47419.

M.Leblanc,

I'm in the same boat you are. I haven't had any luck locating OEM replacements. Everyone the boards here says to replace it with rubber vaccum hose/windshield washer fluid line. The problem is, noone can tell me what size I need. Apparently, silicone tubing is a more durable option, but it's also more expensive.

I hope this helps! If I find the sizes, I'll let you know.

Re: EGR Vacuum Hose Issue

If you go with silicone tubing, try your local hobby shop and ask for silicone fuel tubing. It should be less than $1/ft.

It just won't come in those fancy colors.
