vacume line

hey guys,
just noticed a cut off rubber vacume line on the rear drivers side going to the intake.car is running fine except for slightly higher idle after it warms up.if i block the line with the car running,it imediatly stalls.if i block it and then start ,it runs ok ,but with massive air sucking into intake.think it might be for brake booster, but why am i just noticing it now,and how do i correct it? any ideas appreciated.[86,305]

Re: vacume line

Also, if you have cruise control, there is a vacuum line that runs around the back of the engine to the cruise that "Tees" to the vacuum ball located in the front drivers fender. AND A BEAR TO SEE!

Brake booster to intake is a rather large hose!
