Im new at this but here it goes. Ive an 87 iroc z 350 tpi. It sat for awhile befor I bought it. I replaced fuel pump tank and filter. The car started. Took it for a ride and ran like crap. I tried getting a reading off the ecm but cant get a computer to connect to the the car. Tried 3. So Ive been goin off of message boards. The car is hard to keep running on a cold start. (Like a caberated vehicle) once it warms up a lil it runs decent but blows fumes bad and is hard on gas. When I floor it, it just dies. I changed o2, tps, injectors (just put factory back) plugs wires cap and button. I changed the coolant temp sensor and that made the engine ligjt go off. Also had the ecm rebuilt. However the car has not changed on how it runs. The plugd I pulled were gas fouled. I checked fuel pressure. Its 46 psi switch on engine off. 40 idle. When driving and I floor it, the pressure drops to 20 and does spit and sputter. If I ease into it and steadily increase throttle its not to bad. Any help at all would be great.

Did you check for engine codes?
Engine codes can give you an area to look for problems that affect how your engine runs. If the engine light is working and you have no codes, then you are going to have to do some investigation to try and find your problem.
You stated the car was parked. Do you know why? Knowing why the previous owner parked the car can tell you a lot. Was the engine running well when parked? Was it parked next to a field or outside? Knowing the history will be a big help.

Mine does the same thing from time to time. Check your exhaust gasket on the o2 sensor side should be driver side. An exhaust leak fools the o2 sensor and makes the ECM dump fuel.
