1991 Z-28 dies at stops when at operating temp.

I have a 1991 B4C that when at operating temp dies. It will also die when warm and put into gear at a stop. When it dies it is like the ignition shuts off. It just quits. When the car is below 160 degrees it operates normally. Any suggestion would be great. It is a 5.7tpi auto car. Thanks. Nate

If the OEM Multec injectors are still in the engine replace them.

If not, then the next time it won't start, check the fuel pressure, check for spark. If have spark and it won't start shoot a small squirt of starter fluid into the TB and see if it runs for a moment. If so you have a fuel issue.

RBob.

Check out the pickup coil as well.

They get hot, no workie, cool off and you might get home.

All other suggestions were valid as well.

Well it turned out to be the the magnets in the distributor were corroded and cracked. Just giving heads up incase anybody else runs into this. Removed and replaced distributor and coil. Runs great now. Thanks for all your help!!! Nate
