help quick question thats driving me nuts look at pic and tell me what you think

ok so i was in the middle of installing a new center bolt to perimeter bolt adapter to fit some tall valve covers, when i accidentally dropped a cylindrical washer that was part of the adapter down the hole that is in the head. im not exactly sure where it goes and whether i now have to pull the whole valve train to get it back out please any help

Maybe you'll get lucky and you can snag it with a long magnet. It's in your block's valley. If you can't get it with a magnet you'll need to pull the intake manifold and it should be right there. If it's at a far end of the block it could make it's way to your oil pan.

Try a shop vac with a small rubber hose taped to the end
