anyone ever have trouble with a cold start with an 87 TransAM 5.7 TPI? I wonder how you can determine if it is the cold start valve, switch or relay... please let me know if you have had this issue and how you resolved it. Thanks for your help

It will star right up and shut off - over and over. If you touch the gas pedal it turns off faster. Once it warms up after 5 or 10 minutes of starting over and over then it will stay on and rev up on its own (a separate problem??) after several minutes of idling the RPMs return to normal and all is well for the day. But the next morning it does the same thing over again.
