Engine surges a bit until warmed up

Axle/Gears: 10 bolt posi, 3.73 Richmond Gears
Engine surges a bit until warmed up
Hey guys, did a search on this but didn't find anything helpful. The engine surges a bit on start up and after it warms up the surging stops, looking for some input on what to do to correct this.

the egr (exhaust gas recirculation) valve is most likely stuck open u and try taking it off and working the diaphragm with wd-40 or something similar. or a new egr would also work.
