Loss of power at acceleration and cruise speeds

Hi everyone. This past week I've noticed a problem with my car hesitating and losing power when I try to accelerate and also when I'm at cruising speeds (55-65mph) around 2000RPM. I have a 1988 GTA 305tpi. It seems to sputter as I hit the gas, up hill/down hill it doesn't matter. I'm also not getting and SES light or codes. The car idles great still, and runs pretty normal at lower RPMs. Once it gets around 2000RPM I can feel it almost sputter or buck slightly, and my RPMs drop slightly on my tac. It'll continue to accelerate but it will also continue to sputter as my speed increases. Also when I come to a stop, everything seems fine.

Last week I added a quart of oil to my engine because I thought it was low. Turns out it wasn't, so I got that problem sorted out and I have the correct amount of oil in the car now. I filled it 1qt over normal. After sorting this oil problem out was when I first noticed my sputtering.

Could adding too much oil have something to do with the problem? Or could this be related to timing or a distributor problem? Any info would be a great help! Thank you very much!
