Is there a way i can test my purge valve, solenoid and the charcoal canister... what other sensor or emission component can cause it to run rich?
Car floods at start but runs fine after a few minutes.
My check engine light is not on.

 

How do you know your flooding? Smell it at intake?

 

Found the problem... fuel pressure regulator.... hard starts at first, then would idle at 1000 rpm. Sound like there was a manifold leak or drowning. Kinda like a gargling sound...
Since i had replaced my fuel pump fuel tank and filter i havent installed the muffler... cuts off at the catalyc. The umburned fumes/fuel would go through the catalyc causing it to catch fire. ...problem solved though... i wish i wasnt so stuck on the purge and the canister. ..
