Anyone have a factory TPI intake on the bench, or one with the injectors out?

I need the depth of the injector holes.

I had contacted South Bay because I'm going to put an Accel base on, and they say I don't need the adapters used for the Bosch injectors on the factory intake...I won't have mine apart until this weekend to compare with my Accel base, but if they are the same depth, I can call South Bay and discuss on the phone.

Thanks if you can help!

I have the Accel which I can measure quickly enough, but I need to see what the factory base manifold measures...as mine (factory) is not apart right now.

I think SB is selling the refurb'ed Bosch 3's which are shorter than the stock injectors, hence why they have made up adapters/spacers for them...but the price is just right at 165 for a rebuilt set of 8 and a warranty.

Dang I never should have sold all my old TPI spares

Thanks though!!

I have a couple stock ones sitting on the bench.305 ones though if that matters.

I have no hightech measureing equipment but i'll do what I can this evening.

Appreciate it...just a wire to the bottom...along the side, then a tape measure to how much wire went in, should suffice.

Thanks again!

Couldn't locate my digi-calipers so I did the tiewire tape measure trick.Did it 3 times and each time came out to 11/16",maybe a supersmall fraction of a mm under that.

That measurement was from the top flat edge of the intake at the bosses down to the stop ledge in the bore.

Is that what you needed?

Oh and the rubber washer ring was still showing where where it sat.It was about midway between taper and stop ledge, but slightly closer to the taper.

Dang, South Bay is closed for a few days...but checked my Accel base quickly, and got 5/8th...close enough for me to assume factory specs...grrr, dang thing gonna sit now, was hopping SB would be open tomorrow~
