Rough Idle

I have an 89 formula TPI 5 speed, just had someone change the plugs, wires, cap and rotor. AC Delco plugs, autolite wires and stock cap and rotor. It ran terrible after they were changed, 2 of the plugs were not gaped right on the driver side so the mechanic re gaped them took the car for a ride and it ran a lot better but there is still a miss at idle. I think he gaped them around 0.42 but didn't check the gap on 2 of the plugs on the passenger side. Not sure if I should get a new set of plugs and have them changed or could it be a separate issue? Any ideas let me know. thanks!

Re: Rough Idle

I guess it could be incorrect gap. I think factory my car calls for .35(89 tpi 305) the decal under hood says so. Could be a cracked plug, or wire not on completely or first thing I'd look at are wires on correctly in firing order? A crossed up wire will make it run like anus
