Transmission: 700r4
Axle/Gears: 2.73 both for now
what heads are on the 86 lb9
ive read post after post saying 416 up to 85 and from 87 up 081 so what one is on the 86 i know there not center bolt like the 081

081 heads also had the intake manifold bolt angle changed. Essentially, they are about the same otherwise.

My personal favorite is the 601 head. That being said the best 305 heads are the 059 or Aluminum ZZ4 heads.
