HELP!!!!! unhooked wires in engine bay

Engine: 5.0L TPI
Transmission: 700r4
HELP!!!!! unhooked wires in engine bay
The other day I was trying to figure out what a connector went to and noticed two wires.just sitting in the engine bay near fire wall rear of engine, the colors are black w/ white stripe and the other is brown , could someone possibly tell me where these wires go and what there for, thanks ahead of time
